Itsek translated into English is often Irwin, or in this case perhaps Irving which is how Eva Grabowsky Simon listed her grandfather on Samuel Greene’s death certificate.
According to Eva Grabowsky Simon, "The Grabowskies [referring to her grandparents] owned a large tavern 50 to 70 miles from Kovna in the country where they supplied board and accommodation (no liquor) to travelers. They were both murdered but the culprits were never established." This fits with the death record for Itsek and Ita that says they were both killed on the same date.
May have had a daughter, Sora-Ryvka who married Mordkhel-Eliash Larve on Jan 31, 1892 (Julian) in Jonava, Kaunas, Kaunas, Lithuania. (Marriage records says something about each groom paying 75 rubels.)
