Max was Isidore Alexander's business partner. They were married to sisters.

He was once mayor of Forest City, PA. [1071]

1900 U. S. Census lists Max Heller and wife Bertha as living in Fell, Lackawanna, PA with children Abe, Joseph, Benjamin, Rose and Moses. [29] Also says that both Max and his wife immigrated in 1885 and that Max is a naturalized citizen. Says that Max and Bertha had been married for 10 years with 5 children living.

1910 U.S. Census gives address as 66 Main St., Forest City, PA [38]

1920 U.S. Census says that Max immigrated in 1885 [39]

1930 lists Max, wife Betty, and children Esther and Harry living in White Plains, NY. [40] Says that Max and his wife immigrated in 1886.

1940 a couple that matches Max and Betty living in East Stroudsberg, PA. [41]

Hellers owned a cabin at Crystal Lake, Carbondale, PA
