[1751]1900 A Barach Sturz (b. Jan. 1830), wife Kate (b. Mar 1840) , and son Herman (b. May 18770 lived at 603 Fifth St., Manhattan, New York. All three had been born in Hungary and immigrated in 1878. Barach’s occupation is Rabbi. Of Kate’s eight children, five were still alive.
[1752]A Baruch Sturz died Jan 6, 1901 in New York at age 67. He was born in Hungary and had been in the U.S. for 29 (?) years. Father was Joseph Sturz and Mother was Hannah Sturz. He lived at 603 E. 5th St. Burial at Union Field Cemetery on Jan 7.
